I can’t blame Oprah and Dr. Oz. Who wants to be used. Monavie will have to do some pretty fancy footwork to explain this to the Queen of Day Time Television.

The Winfrey lawsuit for using her name and show includes:
1. Monavie, the South Jordan Utah company selling a drink based on the açai berry of Brazil.
2. 456 Vital Health Systems LLC of Spanish Fork, Utah.
3. Crush LLC. of Sandy Utah got a double whammy from Oprah and The Attorney General of Illinois. The AG has also sued Crush and its parent company, TMP Nevada, alleging violations of that state’s consumer fraud and deceptive business practices act.
