The biggest difference in people like Michael Dloughy and other top earners in the industry and you is they have a team that will withstand the test of time. We to can build a team like that.

The only way to build a life long customer base and down line, is to build a team with a duplicate-able system. The only way to do that is to build friendships with people you meet and invite to join you in your business.

It is all about building a team that you personally know each and every one by name. You have to be willing to go that extra step and get to know your future partners or customers. You have to build a relationship with your clientele. It takes team work to build a business.

When we find that 5 Pillar company that Michael Dloughy talks about, you can build a team that will last through the years. We must be willing to make a life long relationship with every person we choose to bring into our business. After all you will be in constant contact with them in order to build your business to the point you can walk away with your desired residual income.

In building a stable, profitable mlm organization, you must

1. have a tested and proven lead generation training system for your team to use immediately
2. Expand your ability to coach your team to success with your system

The key element that can coach your team to success is you. You must know and understand your own WHY and focus on it every day. You should know exactly what motivates you or how will you will ever be able to find what motivates them?   If they don’t get their WHY hammered out in the beginning, they will sooner or later abandon their business.   They won’t be able to  keep their commitment, if they don’t understand why they are doing their daily work.

Reread the first chapter of Success in 10 Steps, if you are even the slightest  unclear about your WHY. You find at least 20 questions in that section to help you identify your motivation.

Not to mention … You will be much happier and better equipped to help others and lead them to their WHY, which will help you all achieve the desired objectives.  That’s what a Coach needs in order to be great.

tt0131202So you’ve found yourself a coach or a mentor that is doing what you want to do.  You want to be able to accomplish what they have.  Now what?  How can you make sure you get the best out of your experience?

You need to make sure that you are coachable.

What does this mean?

When a person is coachable, they do 2 things consistently.  They do what the coach tells them to do without questioning it.  And the second thing is even more important than the first.  They ask for FEEDBACK!

We’ve all heard the saying, “There is always room for improvement.”  I believe that to be true.   Sometimes it only takes a little tiny tweek to make a huge improvement to the play.  Perhaps by starting on the left foot instead of the right can give a player a fraction of a second that could change a plays outcome.

When we listen to our coach and do what they tell us, and then follow up with asking for feedback then we are truly coachable.

Are you coachable?

What does a salmon swimming upstream to spawn have in common with Socrates, the great Greek philosopher and network marketers?

They all have something or someone trying to hold them back from their greatest potential.

All three are going against a current that keeps trying to push them back.

The Salmon’s current is the water.  Socrates’ current was that he had other ideas and beliefs than his colleagues.  Network marketer’s current is going against the popular belief that everyone must have a J.O.B.

The Salmon, Socrates and network marketers all will push against this current and fight for their beliefs.  The desire to succeed is powerful.

How can you combat the strength of this type of peer pressure?

The remedy is simple.  Gather a group of like minded people to meet on a regular basis.   A mastermind group if you will.

Meet with them often, no less than twice a week.

You need to have constant and consistent contact and communication with people who have the same type of ideas that you have.  This is important.  You may feel that you can “handle” the constant barrage on your path to success, but believe me, a support group sure makes it easier.

Why not create one  of your own?  Facebook and Twitter are just two ways to do this.  The internet is a HUGE doorway to a support group just for you.  With a little effort you can easily surround yourself with one.

Give it a try!

P.S.  And you need to expand your network in order to grow your network marketing business anyway right?  Remember, build people, people will build your business!

In order for you to build a stable, profitable network marketing business, you must be able to offer your prospects a tested, proven lead generation & training system and develop into a coach that can coach your team to victory in your system.

The most important element of being able to coach your recruits to victory is … you. You must have the same faith and belief and understand your WHY and focus on it daily.

You need to know exactly what motivates YOU.  If you don’t know for yourself, how will you ever be able to help your prospects figure out what motivates them?  And if they are not able to define their WHY, then sooner or later they’ll drift away .

They won’t be able to maintain their daily commitment if they can’t see exactly why they’re doing it.

Re-read Chapter 2 of Success In 10 Steps if you’re at all stumped over your WHY. You’ll find at least 20 questions in that chapter to help you narrow your focus to find your very solid WHY.

Remember, everything you learn for yourself, you will be able to help others do the same.  After all that is the name of the game… duplication.

Every industry has their relative lingo.  Two of the most commonly used words in the network marketing industry used to describe one person introducing and and signing up another person are “recruiting” and “sponsoring“.

Words have definite meaning and power.  People are not robots, they are emotional creatures.  Emotions are what sets us apart from most creatures here on earth.

Now let’s consider the meaning of these two words that people use so readily in MLM.  Are they really the same thing?  What are the emotional implications of these words.   Here are the definitions from www.thefreedictionary.com

As you read the definitions, take note how they make you FEEL.

recruit
1. To engage (persons) for military service.
2. To strengthen or raise (an armed force) by enlistment.
3. To supply with new members or employees.
4. To enroll or seek to enroll: colleges recruiting minority students.
5. To replenish.
6. To renew or restore the health, vitality, or intensity of.
v.intr.
1. To raise a military force.
2. To obtain replacements for or new supplies of something lost, wasted, or needed.
3. To regain lost health or strength; recover.
n.
1. A newly engaged member of a military force, especially one of the lowest rank or grade.
2. A new member of an organization or body.

sponsor
1. One who assumes responsibility for another person or a group during a period of instruction, apprenticeship, or probation.

2. One who vouches for the suitability of a candidate for admission.
3. A legislator who proposes and urges adoption of a bill.
4. One who presents a candidate for baptism or confirmation; a godparent.
5.
One that finances a project or an event carried out by another person
or group, especially a business enterprise that pays for radio or
television programming in return for advertising time.

Each word has several meanings but when we study the implications of each word, we can see a clearer picture.

I can imagine if your like most people, you felt like a number, or felt a coldness come over you when you read the definition for “recruit”.  No one wants to feel as if they are a replacement or being replaced by someone else.
Did you feel a warm fuzzy feeling when you read the definition for “sponsor”?  Don’t you want your sponsor to feel responsible for you as you gain your footing when you first join them in your new business venture?  How about having someone “vouch for you” .  I know when someone vouches for me, it makes me feel pretty special and I am proud that someone feels that way about me.

Which one do you use on a regular basis?  Do you consider yourself a recruiter or a sponsor?  Do you take personal responsibility for people you introduce to your company?

Just a little something to think about.

Network marketers are always eager to get started building their new found MLM company with a passion. They are eager to learn everything and sign up many.
A couple of weeks later reality sets in.  It’s not as easy as they were lead to believe or how they thought it would be. They run to their sponsor
looking for the magical answer to the greatest of mystery questions. “How do I do this?”

Many sponsors, whether they will admit or not, are in the same boat as the newbie. Except now they have an additional burden. They are now thinking, “If I don’t know the answer, you (the new recruit) will leave me. The sponsor then, like a well training parrot, starts to repeat all the wonderful sounding “sponsoring tips” that their sponsor told them.

The recruit is left feeling as if they are doing something wrong and they keep trying to get it right. The sponsor is left feeling the same thing but with the added fear of losing their new recruit due to not being able to have all the answer to their questions.

What is the cure for both frustrated networkers? The answer is simple. Have a proven, duplicate-able system.

Network marketing is a “people” business. A major component in a good solid system is it’s people or team. One person can not be expected to know everything, so by having a team, you don’t need to know everything. You have a whole team to
derive knowledge from. You need to work with like minded people that have a high level of integrity. That eliminates the worry that someone in the system will sweet talk your leads away from you and put them into their own business. Besides, if someone is able to sweet talk your lead away, would you really be secure with having them in your group? Probably not.

The system you choose should also provide you real ways to
attract people and show you how to generate your own leads. Buying leads is not a proven duplicate-able system. Making a list of your warm market is not a proven duplicate-able system. If that is part any part at all of what your considering using as a system, turn around and run. It is Not duplicate-able.

The system should also be able to help the people you sponsored to generate their own leads and train their downline whether they are new to network marketing or they’re a veteran with many years of experience. That is how the business will duplicate itself without you having to do all the training or answering all the questions yourself. You want your people to have all the tools to find the answers.

If you’re building your MLM business without this type of system, but you’re putting the focus on your own expertise, you will never be able to retire. Your people will not learn how to be self-sufficient and neither will their people. Instead make it all about the education and the system. This removes the stress on you. It removes the feeling of being responsible for someone else’s success.
You are only responsible for your own success.

If your new rep is not willing to learn this type of system and take the mount of time to get trained, then it’s pretty safe to say that they aren’t ready to be a professional network marketer. And do you know what? That’s perfectly ok. It’s just not for them.

There are few professions in this world that you will be able to find success in when doing everything all by yourself.  In network marketing it is simply IMPOSSIBLE to succeed without a team of people.

A true MLM team, help each other.  They help each over come problems and are always continuely learning together.  The ones near the top should be reaching down to pull up those that want the help.

How is this accomplished?  Be understanding.  Know what each of your persons personal goals are.  Not all your people desire to have their faces plastered on team websites or magazines as the company’s superstar recruiter or earner.  The majority of your team are going to be part timers that may only want to make a few hundred dollars extra a month.  Help people reach THEIR goals.

It’s NOT your job to push.  It’s your job to be available within a reasonable time frame to help them when they need help.  If you go on vacation or a team cruise or something, make sure they have someone available to them to call while you are gone.

I just have to brag.  My team consists of some extraordinary people.  They are busy building their team and then they are there ready and willing to help people that are sideline to them.

To a lot of people that may sound scary or stupid even.  Mostly because of the concern about cross recruiting.  Let me assure you it is only a problem in a team that doesn’t have integrity.  That is one of the perks of having a duplicate-able system that attracts only the people that seep integrity.

Do you trust your people with your other members of your team?  I sure do.  Let me tell you that it is a great feeling.

My people can count on getting the best answers to their questions.  I know a lot and can help them with a lot of the issues they are faced with.  But I don’t and can not be expected to know everything.  No one can.  You have heard the saying, “Two heads are better than one.”  So just imagine how much better dozens or even hundreds of like minded people helping each other can mean to your business building.  Not only that, but you can see how your organization’s growth rate will not only increase but the retention rate will improve as well.  Why?  Simply because they will all know and believe that they will get all the help and support they will ever need.

Do you care to know more about how to build a team that supports one another with no strings attached?  Do you want to see your organization grow faster and be stronger?  How would you like to attract people to your business like I described above?  It is possible but I will tell you what.  It takes skills.  With out them, you  will see only the same results as your having now.  In order to improve your past results, you MUST take the time to learn from people who are currently building a business.

When you are ready to put in the effort to learn, and you are truly coachable, Mentoring for Free and I will be ready to help you in anyway we can to get you where YOU want to go with your business.

First step is to read this free generic ebook.
Enjoy it.  Write down your questions.  We will get you the answers.

How do you feel (and I stress the word “feel”) when you’re talking to a prospect about your network marketing business?  Or about a product to a customer?

Do you feel a lump in your throat? Do you feel a brick in your stomach?  Or maybe just over all blah?

Do you believe in the words that you are speaking to them?  I mean really believe in them.  How your body feels is a direct indication if you do or not.

All humans are connected and we can feel if someone is being sincere in what they say long before we have real evidence of it.
If you do not believe in what you’re saying, how can you expect someone else to believe you?

When you are honest and sincere with people, you don’t have to convince them of anything.  They know what they want.  If they know you are sincere and there ready and able to help them, they will come to you.
