Decision’s can be hard to make but when one begins to
become a critical thinker it seems to come automatically.
I like the way that Napolean Hill puts it in his book “Think and Grow Rich.”

“You have a brain and mind of your own. USE IT and
reach your own decisions.” He goes on to say that if
you need help making a decision, do it quietly and with
out disclosing your purpose, keeping in mind the fact
that every person with whom you associate is, like
yourself, seeking the opportunity to accumulate money.

If you talk about your plans too freely, you may be
surprised when you learn that some other person has
beaten you to your goal by PUTTING INTO ACTION
AHEAD OF YOU, the plans of which you talked unwisely.

Our family’s and friend’s can be our biggest downfall if we
dont listen to Hill’s words. Hill tells us “Keep your eyes
and ears wide open—and your mouth CLOSED, if you wish
to acquire the habit of prompt DECISION.

Those who talk too much do little else. If you talk more
than you listen, you not only deprive yourself of many
opportunities to accumulate useful knowledge, but you
also disclose your PLANS and PURPOSES to people
who will take great delight in defeating you, because they
envy you.

Mr.  Hill also tells us “Let one of your first decisions be to
KEEP A CLOSED MOUTH AND OPEN EARS AND EYES.”

I am a blue and this was a biggie for me as I love to talk,
but I have become a better listener. Hill also tells us to
“TELL THE WORLD WHAT YOU INTEND TO DO, BUT
FIRST SHOW IT.”

This is the equivalent of saying that “deeds, and not words,
are what count most.” Like our forefathers whom put their
lives on the line for the decision to become an Independent
nation, we too need to make some decisions that our family’s
and friends may not like, but they too will envy my success.

Going through this book has helped me to slow down and
take note of the world around me. I have learned so much
in such a short time my head is still spinning. I have
learned to apply the rules as I learn them through my
Mastermind Group.

Let me share part 2 of the answer that Sharon Lechter and Greg Reid give in their book, Three Feet from Gold.

You already have the talent and ability to create great suc-

cess in your life. The Success Equation will show you how:

[(P+T) x A x A) +F = Your Success Equation

ASSOCIATION

Association refers to the people and organizations you surround yourself with. Think of the five people you spend the most time with.

Do they support you? Are they successful? Do you need to change your associations?

List the names of five successful people that you personally know.

Describe what makes these people winners in your opinion.

Make another list. What associations could help you apply your talent and your passion?

Think of groups of people, businesses, age groups, sports that could benefit or assist you in pursuing your passion and talent.

Now search the web for your passion and talent. What did your internet search turn up? If you are overwhelmed by the search results, start narrowing your focus until you find something that intrigues you. Any new ideas?

Look at the list of associations you listed and pick one. Make a call to see if you can “be of service” to that association. Ask, “How may I serve you?”

ACTION

Making a change requires taking action. Are you really committed to improving your life, or are you just attracted to the possibility?

Look in the mirror: . . . for things to change… you must change!!!

FAITH

This is often the toughest part of the equation to master. Having faith means believing in yourself and your idea despite the obstacles you may encounter.

Remember — Take a moment to remember the low points and the high points in your life.

Reflect — How did those times impact you? How did you respond?

Did you have support from your friends and family?

Recognize — Recognize that almost all successful people also have low points as well as the successes in their lives. They learn how to persevere and succeed through those low points. You Can Too!

Acknowledge– Acknowledge that you can persevere and can find the right associations!

Act as if! — Have the faith that your personal Success Equation will drive you to incredible success and start taking action every day toward that success.

Remember:

In order to plan a course for success, it helps to know where you are and how you got there. There is a saying, “Your life is the sum total of the decisions you have made.” Let’s review your past in order to create your future…

You will need to read the book, Three Feet From Gold, to get more details.
It is Truth Wrapped in a Story. I learned much from reading the book and am reading it again!

Don’t let your potential die. Find your passion in life and pursue it!

When this amazing master mind group was presented to me i didn’t even know what a master mind group was! Even though I didn’t know much about it I knew it was the answer to the prayers I had been sending up several times a day everyday.

I asked God to bring people in my life that believed in Him, people that would aid me in finding what I was missing. See I was going to church and reading the Bible and was still depressed I could feel myself spiraling further and further. When I attended church I still felt very strong that I was missing something, what I had no clue.

So I prayed and prayed to find “it” to know soon as it was in front of me that what ever “it” is, is what “He” was telling me was missing. It was amazing for me the first time my Mother showed me a video about DNA and the “ether” I knew with out a doubt in my mind that what they were sharing was real. My mind took over and was like watching a movie reel comparing what I was learning to what I know about the bible. Then she brought me on the 30-Day Mental Cleanse call, which is The Key to success. When I heard Micheal Doulhy talk I got so excited, I said to my Mother “This is it this is what I have been asking God for!!!” I felt “IT” I knew that what he was sharing was the truth I could feel it deep where it counts.

This blog is a mile stone in my journey, with this I over came one of the”fear” road blocks on my path of success. Join me in my journey of self development, success in network marketing, and life!

Thank you to my brilliant mentors I love all of you!

Do you or do you know people who ask these questions?:

* Why am I successful in corporate America and fail in network marketing?
* I worked so hard and still can’t do it. What’s wrong with me? What’s wrong with the company? What’s wrong with the product?
* I maxed out my credit card on advertising. Why did it NOT work?
* Where’s the teamwork?
* Where’s the money?

There are many more questions in the book ‘Success in 10 Steps’ by Michael Dlouhy.

This is a quote(from the book) from Michael Dlouhy that I really like:
“Success leaves footprints in the sand that you can follow.
If you can’t follow the footprints, you must be on the wrong beach.”

In MFF we have team members that help us and we can talk with them. We can follow those who have success and find out what they did so we can learn and do them. One thing is that you need to be coachable and ready to get to work. You need to be all in; it won’t work if you are half in or not really in, YOU need to decide what you want then go for it. Get around people that are having success and find out what they are doing!! What’s working for them? Want the money? Want to meet new team members that WILL help you? Do you want to spend less on advertising?

Once again, the brevity of life has reminded me that I must be passionately seeking to attain my goals while I am able.

Last Wednesday night, the youngest of four children, an 18 year old, college freshman, collapsed and died while running on a high school track. He was a leader in the making, tackling engineering problems that his classmates had no idea how to solve. He was a friend of our son, who is close to the same age. We also know his family and attended his funeral on Saturday.

So much potential, we don’t understand why it happens, especially when it is someone we know, but it prods us to do better and be leaders that show the way to others.

As an adult, we should know our purpose in life and pursue it passionately. We should be living in the present and giving 100% to achieving the goals to attain our purpose in life.

Remember the question, “What do you want to be when you grow up?”

It is so easy to change from one profession to another in the society today, that most people change many times during their lifetime, never finding fulfillment.

Don’t be discouraged if you don’t know your purpose. Most people don’t know their purpose.

How do you find it? How do you know what you want to be when you grow up?

What did you dream about becoming when you were a child? What do you feel so strongly about doing, that it brings tears to your eyes, or your heart beats faster when you talk about it?

What would you do if you knew that you would not fail and money was not an option?

Let me share the answer that Sharon Lechter and Greg Reid give in their book, THREE FEET FROM GOLD.

You already have the talent and ability to create great suc-
cess in your life. The Success Equation will show you how:

[(P+T) x A x A) +F = Your Success Equation

Combine Passion, something that makes your heart sing,
with Talent, something you excel in, multiply it by the
right Association, successful people or organizations, and
Action, concrete steps you can take toward your goal, and
then add your Faith, the unwavering belief in yourself, and
you will have your own unique Success Equation.

If you don’t already have a journal, get one. Creating your
Success Equation can be your first entry.

PASSION

In your journal, take a page and make a list of ten things you
are passionate about. Sharon’s might include x and y; Greg’s
might include a and b. What does your list include? You may
need to get help from your friends and family (who support
you!) in coming up with things that really get you excited but
you might consider irrelevant.

What are you passionate about? What makes your heart sing?

Think about the times in your life when you have been most
fulfilled. What were you doing?

TALENT

Now, on another page, make a list of ten things you are really good at.

Are you a great communicator? Do you have a knack for numbers?

Can you cook or draw?

What do you excel in? What are your talents?

Now, ask a friend to remove one item that least describes you from each list.

Repeat the process with several friends, either as a group or
individually, until you have one item remaining on each list.

My passion is _______________________________________.

My talent is _________________________________________.

(to be continued…)

Don’t let your potential die.  Find your passion in life and pursue it!

As Michael Dlouhy says,

You need to talk to your front-line leaders regularly. At least every other day. Sometimes it’s 2 or 3 times a day. Make yourself available anytime for 3-way phone calls. Give your team a system to help them find the people and sponsor them into your business. Make yourself available.

At our 35th wedding anniversary on June 21st, we had 2 of our front-line Diamonds at the celebration. And my sponsor My sponsor & his wife flew across the country to attend. Several others from our group were there. And we had a ball.

Here’s what it’s about.

I have a gentleman in my group, awesome guy, he lives up in Monticello, Florida. On our way back from a seminar trip to Houston, Texas, I stopped by to see Richard & Cheryl. They have a big old hickory tree that was leaning towards their home. It got hit by lightning, and it was dead. They were very concerned it could come down, and it’s a couple thousand dollars to have that cut down & carted away.

So I got together one day with Linda & our son Matt & a friend, Lynn Rothfuss, from New Jersey, and we made a day of it. We took a picnic up and we cut the tree down, cut it up, stacked it up for them.

That builds relationships. We just did that to help them. When’s the last time your upline did something like that for you?
That’s what this business is about – it’s about building relationships. We’ll be in business the rest of our lives with Richard & Cheryl. I’ll be in business the rest of my life with all our top leaders. It just goes on and on and on.
You’ve got to build it solid. We just sponsored some awesome people down in Puerto Rico, Nestor & Toni. They’re so excited, they’re going on the MLM Cruise with us. When we come back, we’ll hang out there for 2 or 3 days and do meetings and build them an empire while we’re there. They’ll have it started before that, but we’re going to explode that island.

The Mistake That Many Leaders Make

People are telling their downlines all the time, “You have to change. You have to get out there and sell. You have to become this other person that you aren’t right now.”
The truth is, YOU are perfect just like you are. Everybody on your team is perfect just like they are. They don’t need to change. They don’t need to become a pushy, aggressive salesperson.

Ninety-two per-cent of the world’s population is sales resistant. You don’t like to be sold. You walk into a store, looking for shoes. You want to look around, pick out what YOU want. You don’t want some sales clerk coming around, telling you they have a sale on such & such a shoe. You want to shop & buy what YOU want. Maybe you’ll ask for a clerk, once you’ve decided what you want.

So it’s only about 5% of the people in network marketing who tell the others that they have to change, they have to become this pushy, aggressive salesperson, make a list of your friends & family and go puke all over them, force them into the business.

That Is NOT How To Build Your Business!

My belief is, just target the market and find people who already are looking for the business, people who already believe in network marketing. Don’t go out and try to build them a dream to get them in the business.
It’s kind of like religion. Some people believe in God, some don’t. Don’t try to convince the people who don’t believe in God to believe in Him. And don’t try to convince the people who do believe in God to not believe in Him.
Just go talk to the ones who already believe! Talk to the people who already believe, and are looking. Those people are warriors. Those people are ready to take action. Those people will build an empire. They will build a legacy income for you. Those are the kind of people who will drive 6 hours to your house and cut down a tree for you.
Those are the people you want. Build relationships with those people. Get them into your business, and never, never, never quit building the relationship with them!
All these years in the industry, it’s almost comical to me. I hear so-called heavy hitters talking about building relationships. But the truth is, they don’t have a relationship with their spouse, they don’t have one with their kids, and they don’t have one with their business partners. They rattle on about relationships, but they don’t know how to build one.

Bulletproof Your Income!

What if your company went out of business tomorrow? Don’t laugh – it has happened to many, many people in this business. What would you do? Would you have to start over from scratch?

Well – NOT if you have strong trusting relationships with your people! If you have taken the time and made the effort to build that steel-ribbed “know, like, & trust,” then your people will stick with you. They will follow you to your next company. They will trust in your judgment.
If you haven’t built those relationships, your future is very much in doubt. Why take that chance? Work hard at getting close to every person in your group. That’s a strategy that will pay off for you big-time, whether your current company is around forever or not.

Thanks to Michael Dlouhy’s words of advice which will help me in my business.

To Your Success,

“Ninety percent of new businesses fail the first year.

And 90% of the rest fail in the next 4 years.

THAT is tough.

You’re excited. You start. A thousand things go wrong.
You want to quit a thousand times.

Most people just quit.

You need a strong enough reason to do it.
Then if WHAT you’re doing doesn’t work,
You’ll figure out some other way. But if
You’re at all wishy-washy, you’re a goner.”

This quote from Michael Dlouhy’s book, Success in 10 Steps,
explains why we need to find and fulfill our passion in life.
That passion in your life will create a successful business.

So, why are you here (on earth, I mean)?

What do you enjoy doing so much that you can’t wait to get started in the morning?

God placed man on the earth initially to have fellowship with Him.
It was a joy for Adam, Eve, and God to walk and talk together in
‘the cool of the day’. We should have fellowship with our Creator.

We need to know what our purpose in life is. It will fulfill us so that we are overjoyed to work at accomplishing our purpose every day.

I don’t mean like the movie that shows someone who’s whole live
builds to a climax of doing a great humanitarian deed and then
passes on, though that may happen.

I am talking about day to day, burning, passionate, desires or dreams that become a reality because you pursue them with clear focus and purpose. Then you will be successful in your life, your business, etc.

First of all, you have to know WHAT you want. What is YOUR dream, your PURPOSE, YOUR PASSION IN LIFE?

Most people have been ‘programmed’ to think that once you reach adulthood, you are not supposed to dream anymore. (Not in the daytime, anyway)

WHY NOT?

Do you want to be STUCK in your 9-5  J-O-B from now until you retire without enough retirement to live comfortably?

Take responsibility of your life and actions and achieve your dreams.

Dream, and DREAM BIG, the BIGGER, the Better!

In the book, Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill says,
“Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”

In the weeks to come, I will be sharing the steps that many
successful entrepreneurs have taken.

Then you, too, will be able to….

Find YOUR PASSION IN LIFE and BUILD YOUR BUSINESS.

In 2006, Stephen M.R. Covey wrote the book, “The Speed of Trust -
The One Thing That Changes Everything.” The book is a terrific
tutorial on the 13 behaviors that create trust fast in both
business and personal relationships.

Throughout the book, Covey includes short quotes of dozens of
leaders from every walk of life, each giving a nugget of wisdom,
telling how they have used trust to achieve success. This Saturday
night, October 9th, at 8:55 pm Eastern time, Richard Dennis will
give you 75 of the best bits of advice from these leaders. Any one
of these 75 gems could be a life-changer for you.

It is F*REE to listen to this live conference call. However we only
have a limited number of spots on the conference bridge. Just reply
back with “Trust” in the subject line to confirm your planned attendance.

As soon as I get your reply, I’ll make sure to reserve you a spot
on the call and get the access information to you. I believe this
information will help you achieve network marketing success.

The biggest difference in people like Michael Dloughy and other top earners in the industry and you is they have a team that will withstand the test of time. We to can build a team like that.

The only way to build a life long customer base and down line, is to build a team with a duplicate-able system. The only way to do that is to build friendships with people you meet and invite to join you in your business.

It is all about building a team that you personally know each and every one by name. You have to be willing to go that extra step and get to know your future partners or customers. You have to build a relationship with your clientele. It takes team work to build a business.

When we find that 5 Pillar company that Michael Dloughy talks about, you can build a team that will last through the years. We must be willing to make a life long relationship with every person we choose to bring into our business. After all you will be in constant contact with them in order to build your business to the point you can walk away with your desired residual income.

Til the next time
